It was only when I got to college that I realized just how bad my health was because of my up and down weight struggle. Luckily for me, the college had a gym and I started working out. I spent 6-7 days per week trying to burn fat and build some muscle. I thought that was what I was supposed to do and if I did, I'd feel better.
But I was wrong…
Back then I didn't have a clear understanding about what it really took to not only look healthy, but feel healthy. The more time and effort I put into trying to get myself into better shape, the more it seemed I was stuck in a rut and not getting anywhere. I was so frustrated and got to the point where I'd almost given up on ever being fit and healthy.
And then I got smart…
I finally decided it was time to get serious about my health. I began studying and learning the real facts about fitness. I implemented the things I learned and my health improved immensely! I was hooked!
After seeing how much exercise and eating right changed my fitness level and my health I decided to dedicate my life to it and make it my profession. I now have my Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and countless certifications for various exercise programs. Each one of them built on the next.
